From April 27 to May 8, 2026, Mgr. Pavlína Vaňková, PhD. participated in the Language Standards and Assessment Seminar (LSAS) held in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The seminar brought together participants from various countries, including Colombia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ukraine, Albania, Portugal, Italy, Poland, and Lithuania.
The intensive course for teachers focused on the STANAG 6001 standard, the analysis of its descriptors, and assessment in accordance with the standard. The course was conducted by experienced lecturers from the United States. A major benefit of the seminar was the opportunity to discuss and collaborate with participants from different cultural and professional backgrounds. Such an environment encouraged the exchange of experience, the development of communication skills, and the establishment of new professional contacts.
In addition to the professional program, the stay in Garmisch also offered the pleasant atmosphere of the Alpine environment, which created ideal conditions for informal meetings and networking. Participation in the LSAS course was a valuable experience that provided new knowledge, inspiration, and motivation for further professional work.
